I started doing some research on elk hunts in Texas when I finally came across Cinco Canyon Ranch. I was looking to book a hunt as a birthday present but I know nothing about elk hunting. Harry was very helpful and patient when it came to answering all my questions. Once we picked out a day, we arrived at the ranch and we were immediately greeted by Chance. He welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful ranch. PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE! Once we got settled, we decided to spend the day in Fredericksburg at all the wineries (only minutes down the street). The following morning, Chance took us out to bring back our trophy elk. Dillon helped with the recovery and they set us up with the coolest picture. Definitely the experience of a lifetime. I would recommend this place to anybody!

What a fantastic group of folks! This was my 1st Axis hunt and Harry and Chance did everything they could to put me on an animal. Not only is the hunting fantastic, The accommodations are 5 star. Axis are difficult animals to harvest, however, Chance was able to guide me and harvest a trophy! I’ll be back and probably bring the entire family next time.
